Will hair oil flow down my head and increase my facial hair?

I've got lots of facial hair for which I'm undergoing laser treatments. But, the hair on my head is dry and thin, and I've been told over and over again to oil my hair with this and that. But, I'm afraid that it will increase the facial and neck hair.

Oil has nothing to do with hair growth. Hair growth is dependent on hormones, vitamins and minerals and medications.

If you want to grow hair you can get Rogaine products in the drug store. If you want to remove hair you: there is a vast wealth of products to remove hair temporarily or you can have laser treatments to permanently remove the hair (expensive).....you can also shave.

Contrary to the old wives tale: shaved hair will not grow back thicker. So if you have some hair that bothers you then shave it off.

or just bad genes.

oils cant make hair grow.

see an MD or dermatologist.

No. Just live healthy. Vitamins exercise and what have you. That's probably the best way to grow everything. :)

Oil can never make you have more facial hair. All of us would be in trouble if that happened, you know, so many facial moisturizers have different kinds of oil in them. But if you apply too much hair oil, it can definitely make your face break out.
