long facial hair,

rough stubble, or

clean shaved?

im more of a strong silent type, i was thinking stubble...

clean shaven... stubble only looks good on elder guys...

look up the guys on the following tv shows:

House MD, Smallville, Lost.

some of the main characters have stubble... they all seem rather old (except in smallville - clark kent - the actor off the set sometimes grows stubble)...

unless you feel you can match that dont bother.

on a 17 y.o. i prefer the clean shaved look. actually, on any age. stubble looks ugly and it feels bad too.

ok this can go either way here. 17yrs old strong silent type, depends, what does it depend on? YOU and ONLY you! 1 boy might be that cowboy type with the trimmed rugged look and be considered hot looking. Another boy who is clean shaven be considered to have the prestige look going or the military look.

Thing is, its not the outside of you that matters. Define yourself for you not others. It's up to those around you to accept you for you both inside and on the outside. If you need ideas look at some mens magazines and how they have their faces done. It's your individual personality that is what defines you. Not what others think or how they feel about a certain topic.

Some men who have had very long beards one day decide to shave it all off. Some decide to go for the change and try different trimming and shaving designs. It's what your happy with and what makes you feel good. Once your a little older you will understand that just because someone looks hot doesnt mean they have the personality that goes along with it hence goes for the not so hot looking and those are the ones who would have the heart of gold in them.

well you wouldn't want rough stubble if you have a girlfriend cuz that hurts are face whenever we go to kiss you........clean shaved always looks nice!...I personally don't like guys with mustaches...it gets in the way of kissing a beard is nice if its kept short and if you can actually grow a healthy one some guys cant grow a good beard (i.e hair missing in spots).....I would try all 3 looks and see which gets the most attention!.....good luck.
