Facial hair n how to soften the undergrowth that pos up next day....?

after you shower rub your face with pumice stone.........the hair growth stops after sometime.........and the hair that is really small comes out and you can pluck it with a tweezer....

Facial hair n how to soften the undergrowth that pos up next day....?

Facial hair n how to soften the undergrowth that pos up next day....?

You can use home remedies like a paste of turmeric and curds . From http://www.hairremoval.in/homeremedies.h...

Have you ever tried an hair removal cream ? It produces great results, one I already used is from Revitol. See here http://www.revitol.com/hair-removal-crea...

Facial Hair....removal?

whats the best and non-expensive way to get rid of facial hair on nose and ears.....

Facial Hair....removal?

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are 閳ユ笡ermanent閳?hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

You can use thread

it hurts, but go ahead and try

Facial Hair....removal?

Hair removal wax by "NAIR" is the best thing on earth to remove even the shortest of hair smoothly and instantly. It is first warmed in microwave and then used when it bearable enough warm as it cools downs it hardens enough to be pulled away. It gets a little pain but its worth it , much better then those ugly hair removin creames and eppillators which take much of our time.

I don't know if this would help, it's a method of threading from Middle East but sb has 2 do it 4 u (maybe worth checking out)

Dry skin with facial hair?

When I am clean shaven I don't have any dry skin but once I start growing facial hair dry skin starts popping up everywhere! I love my facial hair it's just so annoying to deal with the dry skin. I have been applying lotion to my beard everyday but it doesn't seem to help much. Anyone have any suggestions?

Dry skin with facial hair?

Try a moisturizer for your face and get one formulated for dry skin. Mary Kay has men's products and you could try the product in the privacy of your own home, call 1-800-Mary Kay

Dry skin with facial hair?

try Clinique products for men are very good.

What is the best wax for facial hair?

I have dark, somewhat thick facial hair. I shave alot,so its not noticable. Ive tried alot of facial wax's that dont work because i cant let my facial hair grown that long, and ive tried the nair and sally's facial wax strips (more like a joke). Whats the best wax for short hair?

What is the best wax for facial hair?

i am not quite sure but i saw a costy wax in a cup at sephora, I was going to try that. Maybe it work.

What is the best wax for facial hair?

Nair sucks!! don't buy it... I remember I tired it when I was in the 9th grade and all it did was cause a lot of pain but the hair was still there.

What I use now are Veet wax strips specially made for the face. its works really well. try it :)

but whatever you do, NEVER shave your face. you will start getting those dark patches on your face and nothing can get rid of it. I've seen it happen.

What is the best wax for facial hair?

wax does not work on short hair. Hairs needs to be long enough to grip and pull. Use bleach to lighten facial hair so it wont be noticeable.

My friend has female facial hair?

what can she do to reduce the amount of facial hair that she grows and what can she do to remove the facial hair that she has without causing hair bumps!

My friend has female facial hair?

There is a cream now the the dermatologist can prescribe, I think it's called Vaniqa, which reduces the amount of hair that grows. Or if the hair is dark she can get laser hair removal which is permanent. Unless they have made advances, only people with lighter toned skin and dark hairs can get that. But they might have figured out a way to make it work on darker skin, if that's an issue.

My friend has female facial hair?

She could wax and use cocoa butter. She will need to talk to a Doctor about that. Maybe he could give her a remedy to help her. My cousin had it to but because she was sick she could not do any thing.

My friend has female facial hair?

lazers...go to a dermatolagist ^.^ i mean your friend should go see a dr. for a permanent cure

hair remouval products are meant for legs...sometimes underarms NEVER bikini area never face

My friend has female facial hair?

shave it.

My friend has female facial hair?

she could wax, generaly over time if you continue to wax the hair goes away. she could shave with shaving creme....but that could cause more hair to grow. she could get laser hair removal done.

My friend has female facial hair?

This reminds me so much of me a few years ago. I suppose I inherited my dad's genes for facial and body hair, because I was really hairy! It was so embarrassing, especially the hair on my upper lip. I first used depilatories like Nair and Sally Hansen, and although it got rid of the hair, it irritated my skin. So I suggest getting it waxed either at a salon or with one of those do it yourself kits that you can buy at the store. Hope this works for her :)

My friend has female facial hair?

bleach it but you may wanna ask a proffesional what to do

My friend has female facial hair?

waxing is the cleanest, and least noticeable way to remove unwanted hair. you wouldn't believe how many woman come into my salon to get their entire face waxed. it's nothing to be embarrassed about. some women just grow more hair on the faces then other women. there is nothing you do to decrease the amount of hair growth, but waxing can cause to grow back in thinner. i take that back. seeing a specialist in hair removal can reduce hair growth. they go and destroy the papilla, or the spot where the hair actually grows out of, thus causing the hair to not grow back. tell your friend good luck!

My friend has female facial hair?

Go to a salon and have it waxed!! That is the best way.....I have paid anywear from $10.00 to $15.00 to get my eyebrows and lip waxed. If you just want the lip waxed it is usually anywhere from $7.00 to $10.00. Depends on the salon.

If you do go to one salon and it burns you and causes sores (I have been done this way before....Ouch!!) You can either go to another salon or go back to the first and tell them what happened last time and that the wax was too HOT! I've only had this to happen at one place...the next time I told them, they turned the wax off for a while and then waxed me and I was fine. If you don't want to go to a salon and want to do it at home I would use Salley Hanson's Depilatory Cream...Wal-Mart sells it. It is a cream that you put on your lip, chin, any facial area except around your eyes....so no eyebrows with this stuff!! It can burn you also if you don't follow the directions and leave it on there too long. I usually, when I use this product, have to tweeze a little to get the hairs that didn't fully dissolve....ouch! Other than the tweezing it's virtually pain free.....the wax hurts too, but it works better and way longer.

My friend has female facial hair?

It's a hormonal thing.

If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with, for example, a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn't a simple answer and there's a lot of misleading "information" around.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

The worst is moustache only!

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

clean shaven!

for some riddles:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

Goatee or clean shaven for me. Full beards are annoying (scratchy and you can't see the person's face). Moustaches just make a guy look like a volunteer fireman or a child molester.

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

I have this weakness for guys with goatees. I find goatees hot. But then they don't suit everyone.

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

clean shaven is really nice.

but i also don't mind a little goatee, or a thin line along his jaw line, thats hot.

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

I don't like the clean shaven look, don't ask me why but I love scruff!

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

I like clean shaven, but I love facial hair. It has to be complimentary to the guy's face, otherwise...no.

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

"No Shave November" has ruined my life... Guys in high school are really patchy..but pretty much clean shaven..

Facial Hair Preference on guys?

I presonally think facial hair is very unnattractive unless it is a cut little beard that is clean shaven, shapped. and it fits the face nicely, but other then that I perfer a clean face.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

so yah i have facial hair growing and want to see if i can make it grow faster..... ppl say shave it but im afraid if i shave it itll take longer to grow back then if i just wait. so i m not sure do u think its gonna work in a short period of time like in a month or two?

++++ any answer is apriciated++ ps i come from a hairy family my dads facial hair grows back every 2 days!

Want to grow facial hair faster?

apply olive oil before going to bed.... it helps me grow my eye brows faster :)

Want to grow facial hair faster?

Hit pueberty.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

You're not going to increase the rate at which you grow hair. And to answer your question, if you shave it, it'll definately be back within a month or two.

Oh and having fuzz on the upper lip is NOT cool. Shave it off if it's noticeable.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

There is nothing you can do to make hair grow faster. Everyone is different, and hair growth is all determined by genetics. Shaving won't make it grow faster. Your time will come, you just need patience.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

Unfortunately for you, the only answer is to shave. After awhile it'll grow back A LOT faster and A LOT thicker.

Other than that, just make sure to be healthy all around, specially eating a healthy diet, for good, fast growing hair in general.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

If you shave, it will grow back thicker. To make it grow fast, I think if you eat a lot of peanut butter it will help.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

shave it my husband shaves his every other day and it goes back faster and thicker everytime and if it runs in your family you should totally fine

Want to grow facial hair faster?

FACIAL HAIR...WHERE CAN I START? I NEVER LIKE THE IDEA OF FACIAL HAIR I ALWAYS TELL MY BF TO SHAVE HIS OFF. I LIKE MY MAN WITH A CLEAN CUT.SORRY CAN'T ANSWER THHAT ONE FOR YOU.

Want to grow facial hair faster?

since its in your genes, i think you should shave it and it really does come back faster.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

HI I AM A 15 YR OLD BOY AND I HAVE FACIAL HAIR SHOULD I SHAVE IT OF OR KEEP IT

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

It depends on if the facial hair is patchy or not. You don't want to look like you have pubes growing out of your face.

I think a goatee is very sexy!!!

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

if you want to impress the ladies then just leave it on

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

Shave your rat 'stache. It'll grow back. Then shave it again.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

NAIR IT ONCE!

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

If you like the way it looks .. keep it. If you don't .. shave it off. Good Luck ! :)

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

Shave it, you have plenty of time left in life to look old and crusty. Enjoy your youthful looking face while you still have it.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

leave it so u get the ladies + its itchy when it grows back on

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

It's all up to you, my man.. Personally, I think without a picture in this question its hard to say... Some ladies like it some don't, but as for me, I don't have any...

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

If it looks sloppy, shave it.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

I know someone with facial hair on their butt, but that might've been their face..

lol

only joking

Don't shave it, it's gonna become really thick, try to trim it, wax it, or take them out one by one

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

Honestly, I think you should shave it until you're at least 20. The reason is facial hair rarely looks that good before that age.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

Depends on u. I decided to leave my facial hair and not shave to see how it feels (fully) and then shave it...also remember, once u shave the first time...thats it...they keep on coming back faster and faster each time around. So keep it around for a while if u wanna escape the shaving work for a couple more months.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

its probably peach fuzz! lol if you want more hair shave it off if not then leave it the way it is because sure your gonna be excited to shave now but after like your 10th one your gonna be like am sick and tired of shaving! yeah it dose get annoying after the first couple of times! it becomes something that you have to do like brushing your teeth!

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

If you leave it alone it will remain thin and not grow fast. If you begin to shave, it will become coarse and you will have to shave more often. If you do begin to shave do yourself a favor and purchase a good razor so that you don't get those nasty bumps. Also shave with the grain and not against it.

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

I know you said men only but.....most boys start to shave round about this age but it's entirely up 2 you if you want to shave ornot. Personally i would say just shave, it will keep your face nice and smooth. The hairs on your face will start to get itchy wen they start 2 get longer so you will end up having to shave at some point anyway

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

i call them creepy teenage staches shave it, the more you shave it the better it will grow in. BTW facial hair suck i hate shaving everyday

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

you can trim it very low

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

dude....seriously nobody wants to see your peach fuzz. please shave it its completely uncool to be walking around with pubes on your face cause you too young to grow beard/mustache

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

thing to remember is once u start u are gonna have to always shave.

just remember that

Facial hair MEN ONLY?

Of course the first answer was from a girl! WHy don't they stay in womens' health!

Up to you on whether to shave or not. most every guy including me that has a beard or moustache still shave to make the beard look neat, and also trim it. If you have a straggly, scattered beard growth at this time, may just want to shave it off so you don't look homeless.

No facial hair, never ejaculated, age: 18... late puberty?

i can't seem to ejaculate after watching some arousing clips... perhaps it's just because i don't have the imagination.... OR IS IT BECAUSE I'M STILL UNDERGOING PUBERTY?

i should also note that i have yet to grow facial hair, save for some tiny, inconspicuous hairs on my upper lip. Is this just because I'm asian?

No facial hair, never ejaculated, age: 18... late puberty?

You probably are. Do you have hair in your armpits and pubic area?

Try masturbating, maybe you can ejaculate.

No, it's not because you're Asian

No facial hair, never ejaculated, age: 18... late puberty?

sure why not it might be

No facial hair, never ejaculated, age: 18... late puberty?

Do you orgasm? If you can't ejaculate when you orgasm, I would recommend that you go and get analyzed by a doctor; you may need hormone treatment. But if it's just that you're having trouble reaching orgasm (therefore not ejaculate) then that's another issue.

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

I'm thinking about using Sally Hansen's facial hair removal cream, but I'm afraid my upper lip hair will grow back darker and thicker if I stop using it. There's a chance I'll be living in Africa and other countries where these creams will be unavailable, so I don't want to live with a moustache if I can't always have something to remove it with. Can someone please tell me how the hair grows back after using these creams? Thanks!

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

No. The good ones are actually supposed to help thin it out.

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

That's a myth, nothing really makes your hair darker or thicker.

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

No, the only way it grows back darker is if you shave it. But the best way to go is waxing. It pulls it from the root then eventually grows back lighter.

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

oh yes sweety!!!!!!they will certainly grow thicker and darker and would look like a damn thing. of course living in africa would make you have a moustache. but you can opt in for threading, tweezing or waxing which lasts long and is easily available in africa. HAVE A HAPPY TRIP!!!!!!!!!

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

If you're traveling, then the best answer by far is shaving. Get a rechargeable Norleco men's razor and a set of adapters for the various receptacles you'll find in Africa. You'll be able to use it for a couple of months without recharging if you buy one of the top models.

Do hair removal creams make your facial hair grow back darker?

no

Facial hair at american eagle?

I'm starting my job at American Eagle tomorrow. Am I allowed to have facial hair or is it against store policy? It's just a goatee but I just want to know anyway.

Facial hair at american eagle?

Probably not..

But, you should go on the first day without one and then ask them if it would be ok if you get a goatee to keep your job..

Facial hair at american eagle?

you should look the way you looked when they said you were hired. :D

What increases growth of facial hair?

I'm 20 and I think I should have more facial hair that what I have know, my older bro got it at the end of high school and I just finished my first year of college, my younger bro started to get it as a freshmen(he is really athletic)

Any thing I can do to increase my facial hair growth,

I have a light hair on my chin (not peach fuzz) but also a light mustache and very light side burns

What increases growth of facial hair?

mix a blend of jojoba oil with essential oils of Rosemary, Lavender, Clary Sage. Rub on face as desired, preferably @ night.

Take internally Rosemary herb, Silicia Gel (tabs or liquid), Nettle herb.

What increases growth of facial hair?

Sorry man, but you cant really increase facial hair. It is all genetics and sometimes your family members may have more then you. My brother is in high school and can grow a lot of facial hair in a week, back then I couldnt grow anything! Now that I am through college I have to shave daily, so just wait it out and soon you will be a real man, lol. Good Luck.

What increases growth of facial hair?

all bodys r difrents, it was the same in my family

my brother (he is 29) is so hairy all over him and i don't (i'm 31) i have a 1/3 of the body hair than him, an other diference he is geting bold and i don't

What increases growth of facial hair?

umm.. well i'm only 15 and I can grow a chinstrap if i wanted to.. I guess it depends who you are..

try putting rogain on your chin

lol jk

What increases growth of facial hair?

hey, this might be a good thing...your girlfriend won't be constantly saying "ouch!" because your chin/facial hair is poking her...granted, it may make you look younger than you are, but that will be a good thing in the long run...plus, you don't have to shave as much..and I believe it is testosterone that gives you the facial hair and don't worry, the peak where a man's testosterone levels are the highest are around age 40.....

What increases growth of facial hair?

Rogaine???

Sorry I have No clue, but excess testosterone can cause baldness...

hehe

Facial hair.....a sin?

People of a certain church continuously talked about how having facial hair is a sin.We left that church awhile back, but I am still confused.

Have you ever heard of this? I have always wanted to learn why they thought that way.....

I haven't seen this anywhere else,so I am wondering if you guys have this belief or know people who do.

I know I sound silly,but I am just confused.

Facial hair.....a sin?

Shaving is the sin, at least if you still follow Leviticus.

The church you were at probably just had conservative old-timers who were willing to abuse religion to discriminate against people they don't like.

And some people don't like beards. Hippies had beards. Upstanding community men of the 60s did not have beards. That was how they stood apart.

My grandfather once told me, "Never trust a man with a beard." He saw the youth of the 50s and 60s and concluded that only scoundrels grew beards.

That's probably what your old church comprised of.

Facial hair.....a sin?

What kind of sin?

Facial hair.....a sin?

No women should have facial hair. If it isn't is a sin it should be. That's disgusting.

Facial hair.....a sin?

Considering that Jesus is often pictured with beard, it seems silly to say that you can't have facial hair. Maybe the group was made in the 60's and wanted to get away from that image and get back to the repressive attitude of the 50's. Probably men can't have long hair, either.

Facial hair.....a sin?

no, but unkempt pubic hair for women is.

Facial hair.....a sin?

Yes, I have heard of this, and its gross to have these kind of ideas

Facial hair.....a sin?

Oh my. At first I took this question to refer to women. LOL. I'd be in some deep **** if that were the case. And just think about those of us entering menopause!

Anyway, I've never heard of this. It's certainly the complete opposite of the Amish, so you can rule them out.

Who knows why these crazy people get these crazy ideas? They read something in the bible, it suggests _______ to them, and they make that into law.

Facial hair.....a sin?

yea i have never heard that before. but i guess that church prooves that all men are sinners...lol..

Facial hair.....a sin?

It is okay to have facial hair. I hope you are talking about men though. I do know that the Egyptians shaved all their hair from all of their body back in Abraham's day. Maybe that is where they got it from. I don't know.

Facial hair.....a sin?

Oh, good. Another thing I can burn for.

Facial hair.....a sin?

probably not unless its a goatee

Facial hair.....a sin?

i dont know of such a sin..

Facial hair.....a sin?

Facial hair.....a sin? I knew it.

Facial hair.....a sin?

a lot of thing are sin. Just get over it, i mean judging someone is a sin. If you have facial hair get it laser removed that all. And forget about what those people said at your church.

Facial hair.....a sin?

I'm not sure. Jesus is considered (in reality) to have had short hair on his head and no beard or moustache. I don't know though. Last time we talked, he had a black mohawk.

Facial hair.....a sin?

No, having facial hair is not a sin. And I never heard of that teaching before.

Facial hair.....a sin?

there is nothing written in the bible, regarding facial, anywhere at all!!

it sounds like a form of religion! i'm sorry about the bad experience you've had, i'm glad you've left. i just pray that you continue to seek a realtionship with God! He is in the realtioship business, not religion...

much love and i hope you can find a new body of belivers to get into.

Facial hair.....a sin?

There is a place in the Bible where it talks of not cutting the corners of ones beard.... but that was for the Nation of Israel... There are those who want to interpret this as meaning all men today should have beards... It can not be justified by any who have done indepth Bible study that I have read about... I have recently let the beard grow... but just because I got tired of shaveing with tender winter skin at my age...think I will keep it...but not as a "religious" act... just don't want to shave...

Facial hair.....a sin?

Sounds like a bunch of fruitcakes to me, honey. Leave that bunch to their shaving creams and depilatories. Find a Church that teaches about Jesus, from the Bible. Many are off track today and you must be wise. Study your Bible and be not confused. Go to www.ttb.org for good sound Bible teachings, you can listen on radio or online. God bless

Facial hair.....a sin?

I think men should look like men; whether they choose to be clean-shaven or with a moustache and beard. Of course, if you're talking about WOMEN, might I suggest a little upper lip waxing?

lol

EDIT:

It says in the Bible that they plucked Jesus' beard when they scorned Him. If it wasn't a long beard, they would have needed tweezers to pluck it...!

Facial hair.....a sin?

it is not a sin God gave us hair. Islam teaches it is sin for women to have hair on their lower body legs and so forth that is stupid. men tend to have beard in many churches. I have never heard it is a sin if it grows on your body it is from God.

Facial hair.....a sin?

I agree, it should be a sin for women to have visible facial hair. Seriously though, I don't think anything external determines a person's salvation or destiny after death. People are in constant search for spiritual guidance and prescription simply because they don't see themselves capable enough to find answers on their own, and perhaps we aren't, at least not all the time, hence there will always be religious and spiritual groups out there who will succeed in gaining members no matter how illogical their teachings may be. It's great that you have left that church, but I hope you've learned something good from your experience. I also hope that you do not stop searching, thinking you've found the right path. The truth is larger and more beautiful than any one religion will lead you to believe.

Facial hair.....a sin?

Be cool ! I never heard of this... What religion??

But be cool,, beards can be dirty and going back a century,, well the cowboys didn't have time to bathe often..

When towns grew ,, into cities ,,and then into metropolis's,, sin came out of the wood work. It was stupid but we got it today.

remember the cowboy and the city jerk "better than you"..

You understand sin %26gt;%26gt; an insult to our God%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

How be that! He/She is a bigger jokester than I.

You gota take this life as a joke or what the heII.

Facial hair.....a sin?

I can see where they were coming from.

They believe -- as have most orthodox Christian churches over the centuries that the Bible teaches that there are distinct roles for men and others for women and that the disitnction between men and women shouldn't be blurred. And they presumably believe that that distinction should be carried over into appearance, dress etc.

Facial hair on a woman would be making her look male and therefore be wrong,

Now of course the reality for most women is that when you reach around 30 your estrogen levels begin to drop and if you've got skin that's sensitized to testosterone AND you have moderate to high testosterone levels, your hormone balance begins gradually to shift towards testosterone-dominated.

Some women are more masculine than others. But I guess they were reckoning that even women who have moustache or beard growth should shave it to make themselves appear more female and therefore show their acceptance of the female role. Convenersely tehy'd reckon that a woman who wouldn't shave her facial hair would be attempting to take on roles that rightly belonged to males.

Hahaha.......facial hair woes for a younger man.....haha?

ok so this is really pretty amusing.....im in a band, and everyone is growing beards for our next show in a few weeks; everyone except the bass player that is. he hasn't shaved in a week, he has some dark facial hair, but most of it is very light (he's younger.......so im imagining it'll turn darker and get more coarse over time)

so he wants to buy "just for men gel" for beards and try to "dye" the blond hairs........will this work? i want to save my friend a few bucks and the embarrassment of having to explain brown cheeks to everyone.....hahahahahaha. thanks

Hahaha.......facial hair woes for a younger man.....haha?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that if it's for beards and he isn't a dumbass and does it properly, he won't have the problem of brown dye on his cheeks.

Tell him to give it a try and if it doesn't work, get dye remover-- should probably invest in a bottle before you go about dying anything since you say he's younger.

Ha...ha.

How to grow new facial hair?

I'm 30 yrs old guy. I don't have much facial hair. It is surrounded only near my chins. I want to grow long Side Burns, but I can't because I don't have hair on that portion. Please tell me if there is some oil or lotion that will help develop new facial hair.

Thanks

How to grow new facial hair?

just keep on shaving on daily basis

How to grow new facial hair?

i know it sounds funny, but the more you cut hair, the faster and longer it grows.

so i agree with old mate.

as soon as you get a bit of hair, shave it for a month or two, then let it grow.

if you dont have much hair where u want the chops, still shave that bit too. will help in the end

Facial hair pls help!?

i want to cover my facial hair with make up. how do i do this? what do i use? powder? if so, i choose a colour that best matches my skin colouyr right? whats transculent powder? is that better and wot should i lookm out for? waterproof etc?

Facial hair pls help!?

none of these options are brilliant, I would permanently remove the hairs with laser treatment in a clinic. It's pretty expensive but definitely worth it. My aunt had it done and her face is now totally smooth and lovely. Whatever you do, don't pluck or wax them, they'll come back thicker and you'll probably get ingrown hairs which will cause spots. If you have to use make-up, make sure it's a good one like Estee Lauder and that it matches your skintone.

Facial hair pls help!?

Just keep shaving it off, its easier

Facial hair pls help!?

make up wont cover it up you will still see the hair although it will be watever colour your make up is try waxing

Facial hair pls help!?

It would be better to bleach or remove it either with wax or a hair removal cream as heavy make up will stick to and enhance the appearance of hair.

Facial hair pls help!?

Don't put makeup over facial hair, remove the hair. There are some great facial hair remover creams if you are afraid of waxing. Or boots has a little shaver the size of a pen that would whip it right off. Alternatively, grow it long and plait it.

Facial hair pls help!?

Powder will be better

Facial hair pls help!?

Don't use powder it will enhance the hairs. I use a liquid one which drys very smoothly - cost a bit but worth it. I would go to boots and ask one of the girls to assist you. There is nothing worse than walking around with the wrong mask on - tide marks are terrible.

Good luck in your quest.

Facial hair pls help!?

Bleaching is the only way of making it less visible. You can buy it in a good chemist.

Use a face powder padded on lightly or a good foundation but please don't go over the top with it. It looks terrible when girls wear too much foundation because it dries in patches and looks cloggy and orange. If unsure, try some then ask someone you trust if it's too much. Boots no 7 'stay perfect' foundation is good, it lasts all day and goes a long way.

Facial hair pls help!?

Keep it and join the circus

Facial hair pls help!?

have u tried threading it might hurt at first but ...you'll soon get use to it ....or maybe waxing

Facial hair pls help!?

i love hairy faces

Facial hair pls help!?

god u sound attractive.shave it off keep the bits knit yourself a roll neck sweater to cover most your face

Facial hair pls help!?

just do it ,beware not damaging your hair by using some by looking at the side effect of that makeup

Facial hair pls help!?

There is a product called Jolene that is cream bleach specially for your face, why not try that?.......make up will not cover hair, my love...gud luk

Facial hair pls help!?

Don't put make up over it! I think you can buy special facial hair bleach to lighten it, it should make it less noticeable

Facial hair pls help!?

The best thing to do is to bleach the hair! This will make it lighter and less noticable! then put your foundation on as normal.

Facial hair pls help!?

you can have facial hair bleached.. it would be less visible without having to get rid of them

Facial hair pls help!?

I have a better solution for your question.

I am in no doubt God created you in his own image.A make up to change your facial appearance would make you ugly than anyone has ever imagined. Your likeness to God will be ended , if you won't resemble an animal then you won't differ much with satan.

Nice time

Facial hair pls help!?

I think threading is the best answer. I live in the Middle East and Indians and Arabs use thread and 'snip" off the hair. Shaving is not good as it will grow back with deeper roots. And bleaching? I dunno.... and some of those hair removing chemicals can be very harsh and cause allergic reations.

There are fruit facials here in the Middle East that remove facial hair but I dont know what they are...unfortunately. There is something here called 'sheera" and it is a fruit and honey or sugar mixture, boiled until taffy like, spread on and pulled off. Many women do a full body with this process. Its completely natural and removes the hair deep down. I think it is the best way to remove hair.

Try and find a Middle Eastern or Indian woman, (if you live in a metropolian city) that knows these methods and maybe they can help you. As an American female, having waxed before...I find threading, sheera and the fruit masks better options.

Facial hair pls help!?

Want to keep hairy face?

Shave it off !

Facial hair pls help!?

Remove the facial hair

Facial hair pls help!?

get rid of it! wearing too much make up make you look awful!

Facial hair pls help!?

If you can afford it start getting electrolysis or waxing after a time this will pay off.

Facial hair pls help!?

hey .. i say ... facial wax is the best method ...coz ... i too was scared earlier o using it .. but that so convenient that u can do that on you own .. and i bet u will not have to rely on makeup for hiding your facial hair ... instead u can use make up for highlighting ur features ....concentration diverted to natural beauty ....natural makeup ... go ahead ...

Facial hair pls help!?

use waterproof loose powder.. or compact powder... with foundation underneath

Facial hair pls help!?

hi, i would not put make up and powder on as it will surely clump in the hair and draw more attention to it. You are right not to bleech. Waxing doesn't suit everyone, could result in spots or rash and may not be suitable for use on all areas of face. Perhaps you could try electrolysis, i think is expensive, but will be worth it as over the years you will probably spend a fortune on make-up trying to cover it up...so could be better in long run. DO NOT SHAVE! Maybe it could be hormonal, i heard that that is common when a female has a hormone inbalance, see your GP for any advice. I really dont advise make up as a soloution, people will see it and will make it worse!

Facial hair pls help!?

um shave it so its not so masculin

Facial hair pls help!?

have you tryed hair removal by electrolocis major beauty places do this and most local collage offer this at extreemly cheep everybody has to learn from somewhere failing that get it waxed but youlle have to keep it up every 4-6 week if you keep getting it waxed over a period of time the hairs may not return or be very sparce

Facial hair pls help!?

You might want to consider trying a product called "Vaniqa" pronounced "van-ee-ca". It is a cream that can be prescribed by your doctor. It will not eliminate the hair but it slows it's growth considerably in women. You will still have to shave, it but not nearly as often.

Facial hair pls help!?

I have lazer treatment myself, you don't even have to go that often its great most the hair doesn't even grow back it kills the root. But if that's to expensive id wax.don't cover with make up.

Facial hair pls help!?

Just because you're the bearded lady, don't insult me OK

I am suffering from facial hair and all the problems that come with it.?

I have very thick facial hair. So I tweeze it, but the problem is that when it grows back some of them are in-grown, it looks like blackheads, sometimes it even turns into a big pimple. So now, not only do I have facial hair, I also have pimples and dark spots from the old pimples (scars). What do I do? I can't afford laser hair removal, is there any other alternative? Thank you.

I am suffering from facial hair and all the problems that come with it.?

I have the same problem, caused by a hormonal imbalance. I'd recommend visiting an endocrinologist because sometimes excessive hair growth can be a symptom of other serious disorders like Cushing's disease or tumors in the ovaries. A doctor can give you a diagnosis and possible treatment options like birth control pills to regulate your hormones.

I am suffering from facial hair and all the problems that come with it.?

dont tweeze maybe try waxing or go talk to someone who does facials and waxings on a daily basis (like in a beauty salon) I hope you get better but till then my advise is leave your face alone or you will have more scars

I am suffering from facial hair and all the problems that come with it.?

Try waxing or using surgi-cream ( you can find them both at Wal-Mart or your local drug store...really almost anywhere)...the good thing about surgi-cream is that its painless....my sister has the same problem you do and thats what she uses...you cant even tell she grows hair like that it works so well...and for your pimples I would say pro-active...God Bless!

I am suffering from facial hair and all the problems that come with it.?

Bummer sounds like your hormones are off...If you have to much testosterone you will have facial hair...until you get the level in the normal range it will happen...i would see your doctor for blood work to rule that out...good luck

Docs Help! Young Woman w/ Facial Hair..Progesterone?

I'm a 27 year old woman with bad facial hair. I've had this problem since I was 18. I am VERY light complected with red hair and freckles, so it's very obvious unless I tweeze/bleach/shave..The hair is coarse and black as night.

I've been to three doctors who have completely blown me off about this. It's getting worse, and I feel it's a hormonal imbalance or something, but no one its taking me seriously!! I also get chest hairs. My mother says I show symptoms that come with menopause.

Not only is it an inconvenience, but it's embarrassing. I spend about an hour every day dealing with it.

I've purchased progesterone cream hoping it'd help. Anyone used this for facial hair? Has it worked for you? I've been using it about 2 weeks and see no difference.

I can't afford electrolosys. I really want to know why this happens. Doctors think it's a vanity issue, and it's not! Of course I won't go out in public "fully grown" so they don't see it.

What can I do??? Who do I talk to?

Docs Help! Young Woman w/ Facial Hair..Progesterone?

The progesterone cream may help. Make sure its USP grade only.

Have you been tested for PCOS? Get a total testosterone, progesterone, fasting glucose, and fasting insulin. While you are being tested, test for thyroid with a TSH, free T4, and Free T3 in the morning only. Many redheads have hypothyroidism. (me included). I also have PCOS. A med called Metformin ER can reduce high testosterone levels, glucose, and insulin levels. There's even a medication called spirolactone (spelling) that many women with PCOS go on to reduce hair growth

You might want to see a GYN and ask about PCOS and hypothroidism.

There's nothing wrong with you. It's more common than you think. Get laser hair removal. It's not cheap, but take out a loan if you have to. It will change your life. You go a few times and then once a year or so but it comes in very fine afterwards and is just maintenance. Please believe me, it will change your life.

Facial hair remover?

I just used a facial hair remover and i have a really big red spot that hurts really bad and i need it to go away by tomorrow what do i do?

Facial hair remover?

If you have an aloe vera plant break a piece of and use the gel stuff on it, or some cortisone cream.

Facial hair remover?

Just put some lotion on it and it should be o.k. by morning.

Facial hair remover?

Try applying concealer over it so nobody will notice. Keep using concealer until the red spot is gone. To make it feel better put on some face lotion.

Facial hair remover?

try puting ice on it, to reduce the redness/swelling. then try concealer tomorrow if it is still there.

Facial hair remover?

You possibly could have burned your skin. Do not put anything on it as it may worsen it. My mom is an esthetician and when I nurned my eyebrows with the wax she told me nothing but cortisone cream would help, and ice.Try this, but don''t put anything else on it..keep it clean and dry..that includes makeup! Also, my mom says to never use hair remover on your face..its too sensitive. Wax is much safer as long as its not too hot and burns you.

OMG facial Hair Plz HELP?

Hey guys, ok i have facial hair over my upper lip. I told my mom and asked to buy some waxing or anything to get rid of it. She just wont let me, she said no never, in till your 18! But i'm only 12 and it already shows reallllyyyy bad! I reallly need to get rid of it, and i asked her to go to a salon and she still said not!

And plus i don't have a sister or brother or anyone to drive me to the store and buy some. And i live to far from the stores to go by myself... I have nooo idea what to do!! What can i do? And does anyone know what i can do at home..like putting a special cream that i can make or probably have a home? Or even putting a band-aid than pulling really hard so that it pulls the hair right from the root? Plz OMG help!!

OMG facial Hair Plz HELP?

lol at the bandaid idea dont do that instead you can make your own wax at home

http://www.19.5degs.com/element/506.php

i used to do it when i was younger except i used white sugar the recipe i gave you says to use brown sugar but if you dont have it then just use white sugar, it works as well! just be sure not to burn yourself and wait until the wax cools down completely but not too long so that it gets hard.

as for the strips, i would just find old jeans or t-shirts that i didnt wear or fit into anymore and i wud cut it up into strips and use that to wax my legs. try that but be careful the upper lip is pretty sensitive and you dont want to hurt yourself. get a friend or someone to help you if you can.

use a spoon to spread the wax on and take a strip of cloth and press it down firmly onto your upperlip and rub it back and forth for a few seconds. Then grab onto a corner, brace yourself!!, and PULL!! its best to do it in parts, dont try to do your whole lip at once itll hurt!!! so do it in like small sections, then wash your face and check to see if you missed any spots and if you did you can just re-wax that area. If you do miss any spots wait a while until your skin is not so red anymore to wax again. you dont want to irritate your skin too much.

be careful and goodluck!

OMG facial Hair Plz HELP?

buy Nair facial hair remover

you can get it at any drug store.

there's actually one specifically made for your upper lip.

OMG facial Hair Plz HELP?

Alright darling, calm down.

You're probably the only one who notices this hair anyway. There is absolutely no need to stress. What you have is completely normal.

You don't want to go trying crazy home remedies because they can make the hair grow back darker and more coarse.

Try your best to forget about the hair. You're only 12. You're growing and "weird" things may be happening with your body. Right now, you don't have any reason to be concerned :)

Facial hair grows weird?

hi i am 17 years old am my facial hair grows weird. i have like patches instead of a full beard is this normal?

Facial hair grows weird?

Facial hair removers?

Darlin if i were u i wud stay awat from hair removal creams all together!Because they are extremely bad for ur skin and these days god knows wat carap they are putting in them.If u are feeling concious facial hair maybe u wud go with something like waxing they area or a course of electrolisis or laser hair removal depends on how much hair u are trying to remove. If u need any more advice dnt hesitate to ask as im a beauty therapist ok.Hope iv been of some help

Facial hair removers?

no but its probably safe

Facial hair removers?

Yes it is safe to use. Its just a gentler version of nair that won't irritate your face. I've used it for years. You have to be careful using it though.

1)Put it on in a thick even layer. If you don't use enough it won't do anything.

2)Watch the clock! Check a small spot even before its supposed to be done. If it wipes off easily then your done, if it doesn't leave it on a little longer. But don't leave it on for longer than 5 minutes. This is why people complain that it irritates their skin...because they leave it on too long and it can burn a little. So just watch your time.

3)Wipe it off in smooth strokes with a wash cloth. Don't rub it though. Your skin will be tender. Then splash cool water over the skin to get any residue.

4)Pat dry. Again don't rub.

Follow that and you'll be good to go! Avon is my favorite! Very gentle, and has worked everytime I use it.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

My wife (27 years old) has always struggled with weight and has a problem with facial hair around her neckline. Up to this point she always thought the hair was due to the medication Dylantin she is on to control seizures. We also work out 5 times a week and eat fairly healthy but she has not been able to lose the weight like I am....by all means she should be losing a lot more weight for as much as we work out. Today she told me again about her polycystic ovaries and that got me thinking.....could this have anything to do with her other symptons? So after doing my own research on the net I found that almost every symptom she has could be due to this condition. No doctor has ever mentioned it to her because I think they all assume her weight and facial hair is due to her not working out and taking the Dylantin. If she was to go on a hormanal treatments....could this possibly allow her to start losing weight, as well as start controlling the facial hair along her neckline? Thank

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

In my education opinion..it sounds like there's a good chance she has PCOS. If she has polycystic ovaries, is overweight (and has a hard time losing it), and facial hair...those are 3 indicative symptoms of PCOS. If she has some of the other symtpoms too...then she might not even have to go through blood tests and all to start treatment. Here's some basic info about PCOS.

I recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist. They are generally more knowledgeable about PCOS and the correct treatment. Unfortunately, many doctors are not aware of the proper treatment.

The underlying cause of PCOS is insulin resistance (IR). The best treatment for PCOS is going on an insulin sensitizing drug such as metformin (1500-2550mg per day) combined with a low carb diet and exercise. There are a few important things to know:

1. Many women "pass" the test for IR, but still respond positively from the metformin. No one knows exactlly why..my thought is that the test is not a sure fire way of detecting the IR.

2. You must be on a high enough dose of metformin. I've heard women complain that their bodies dont start working even though they've been on metformin for awhile. Some doctors are hesitant to up the dose past 1500mg...but for some of us it takes more. I don't respond until my dose is around 2000mg a day.

3. It can take a few months on the correct dose, before your body is regulated.

4. It is important to treat your PCOS even if you are not trying to get pregnant. There are higher risks for many things (high blood pressure, blood clots, diabetes, and many other things) when you have PCOS, but if it is treated properly, then those risks are lowered.

When the PCOS is treated properly, all of your symptoms may not disappear, but they should improve some. It will also be a lot easier to lose weight (and keep it off). Our bodies work against us when we try to lose weight on our own, making it nearly impossible to lose weight.

There are TONS of books about PCOS and dieting. There are two that I recommend. Here's the links at amazon for those:

I also recommend a couple web sites:

http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bhp... This one is a great message board where you can ask all your PCOS questions or just chat with the women who are also dealing with PCOS. Good luck.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

LADIES, NEVER SHAVE YOUR FACE.

Your hair will grow stronger and darker, you will end up stubble and this is NOT something you want to deal with. Talk to your doctor. Report It

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

i believe yes it would.. and has she had her tyroid checked.. that can also be issue with her not losing weight

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

As doctor to check to write her a lab order to check her TSH levels. SHe could have an underactive thyroid.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

I also have pcos. Has she ever actually been diagnosed with pcos because you mentioned the polycystic ovaries? With the exercise you all are doing and the hormone meds it is very possible she could lose the weight and also the excess hair, but she needs to be diagnosed first so that they know how to treat her, she either needs a second opinion or find a doctor that knows about pcos. If she stays with her current doctor she may need to get aggressive and take charge and get them to help her, I had to do that in order to get treatment. Sorry I am coming on strong but some of these doctors are something else.

I am so glad your willing to help your wife, as a women with pcos I see a lot of women out through on support boards who has lack of spousal support and don't want to understand. If you want more information email me and I will point you to some wonderful support sites that can help you and her and maybe answer more of your questions in the process because there is a lot you need to learn about pcos in order to help keep your wife healthy. It is a tough road to ride sometimes.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

YES, definately. I have POS and have had facial hair problems and wt problems etc....long before I myself started on Dylantin. Although one of Dylantin's side effects is an increase in facial hair, so it is a little bit of a double whammy!

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

I too have PCOS. There is nothing they can do about the hair growth that is already growing. They can give her a diabetic medication that will help with her symptons but I found that it made me want to eat more and I gained more weight. There is not a hormone that can be given to her unless she has a thyroid test and it comes back abnormal. As for the hair on her face it will start to grow in other places like around her nipples. They can also give her a cream that will reduce the growth of the hair but it is expensive. She can have electrolices (hair removal) but that too can be expensive. Blood work can determine if she has this or not by seeing the amount of testrone (male hormone) she produces. There is not really much that can be done which really sucks.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

It sounds like PCOS. Get her checked out and don't forget the thyroid test. That could keep her from losing weight.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

If her doctors never mentioned it to her, then how does she know she has it???

Self diagnosis is not good. And if a Dr. told her she has it, then Yes! That's all the info right there.

I wouldn't hormone treatments. Unless you consider the BC pill hormone treatments. My dr. uses the pill as a way to control my PCOS and it works. Still working on losing weight, but the main thing with PCOS is to have a regular period.

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

bring this to the doctors attention. good research! i would say that it's a good chance she could have PCOS and should be tested. there is treatment for it. best of luck!

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

i think her thyroid glands should be checked

PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome/weight/facial hair loss?

If she has PCOS she can get treatment for some of the issues which result from PCOS but as far as the hair growth is concerned, any treatment is only temporary and doesn't affect the fact that she will always have the tendency towards male-type hair growth, especially on the face. The best answer is to get her a really good men's type electric shaver -- I suggest a Norelco -- and encourage her to shave daily.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

Im 16 and I still cant grow facial hair or body hair. I only have a few unoticable scraggly hair under my chin that wont grow. I have pubic and and armpit hair. I have no leg hair and no arm hair. My body is smoother than a girl. Everything else came at normal, my voice changed at 13, my first ejacultion was at 13, i grew fast with most of my peers during middle and high school. My penis grew. Its just that I still cant grow any body or facial hair. Will I be able to grow a decent amount in the near future or any at all. Is there anything I could do about my hair. What is the average age for a boy to get chest hair and a full beard.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

Give it time dude- a lot of guys don't have to start daily shaving until their 20's. Don't worry, you are normal. Get buff and work out a lot, then people will think you shave your chest to show off your killer pecs-

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

LOL. Sir....things are different for people. Wait it out. I grew hair when I was 12. People call me Chewbacca if I don't shave.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

The same thing happenned to my brother, he never thought he would get any. It may have been like 17 or 18 until a decent amount of hair showed up. Just look at the bright side. Most women don't like overly excessive hairy men. especially on their back. Try to relax OK?

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

I wouldn't put too much worry into. You still have a good 8-9 years of growth and development. Then again, maybe you just aren't naturally hairy. I'm 24 and have very little arm or leg hair and my facial hair is nowhere near thick 'n scruffy, but I don't mind it at all, and neither do most women. It's understandable at such a young age how facial/body hair is a visual representation of male prowess, or manliness, and no doubt impresses your male peers, but it's really insignificant and I'm sure with time, it'll begin to fill in!

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

maybe you must wait...... but don't you think smother is better?

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

i would say to start shaving anyway the more you shave the more hair is soing to grow which is why girls dont start shaving really young!

and then its just time

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

People grow differently. You will get hair someday.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

look...give it time...20's

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

Relax. Having a smooth body and face is attractive to many women. There is nothing worse than whisker burn from kissing. And many many women find hairy bodies gross. A lot of men shave or wax their body hair.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

Join the Swim Team, and tell everyone that you shave your whole body.

Really, body hair is over rated. (I should know, I have a whole bunch of it.)

And don't even try to grow facial hair for a few years. Trust me.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

if you have native american background like me it may be hard for you to grow very much hair at all EVER!

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

When its time, it will grow. Dun have to worry.

Enjoy it while u're still "smooth".

Hehe.

Im 16 and why cant I grow facial hair and body hair?

Bodily/facial hair patterns are hereditary, so it has less to do with age than genes. To answer your question, you need only to look at the other guys you are related to, and look for the consistency, and you will have your answer.

Don't worry. There is a certain ruggedness associated with hairness in men, but there is alot to be said for the smooth look. For example, your muscular definition shows alot better; when you get older, you will have a more youthful appearance than the other hairy guys.

So, work out, pump up, and share your gorgeous youthful look with the world.

PS: Why does Nair manufacture a men's hair removal product? Cuz the hairy guys wanna look more like you smooth guys.

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

I have a little bit of hair on my upper lip, I'm not really into the whole waxing, shaving, etc. thing so I was wondering if I bleach my facial hair would it look natural or weird? My natural hair color is black brown. (I'm not a male by the way.)

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

Probably the most sensible idea. If it develops into a heavier moustache you can always consider your options then. Report It

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

i think it depends on your skin color. If your fair skinned you will get away with it but slightly warmer and it will just show up more. be brave and go for the wax or put a warm towel over the area then just pluck a few out

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

Sounds like I'm a similar complexion to you. I used to use Jolen bleach when I was younger and it did make it a lot less visable. However, as I got older I became more and more self-conscious of it, and so I use a gentle hair removing cream designed for the face now.

Does bleaching facial hair look awkward?

nope, i use hair bleach most of the time

Acne Scars prevent facial hair?

Im 15 and im growing facial hair, but i have an acne scar on the right side of my chin and theres like random little hairs there, but it comes in kind of thick on the left side, i was just curious to know if acne scars will prevent facial hair from growing, or if thats just my beard coming in patches...

Acne Scars prevent facial hair?

yes acne scars do some what prevent hair growth because the scars are from dead hair folices and skin so if u use an antibactreial soap and wait for the scars to strech out u should grow hair in 2 weeks.

Acne Scars prevent facial hair?

I dont think that scars will stop them but living acne might slow it down

Threading to remove facial hair?

hi, I am planning to remove the facial hair above my upper lips by facial threading.I've heard that hair regrowth takes place 2 to 8 weeks after, and the hair is less coarse and is more sparse. How far is this true?

Threading to remove facial hair?

Stop and think carefully about this one.

There isn't a simple answer.

Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it.

Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration.

Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US).

Regrowth is a matter of how strong the hormonal stimulation is. The fact that your moustache grows at all is because of your skin in that area being sensitized to testosterone and your testosterone levels being sufficient to stimulate the growth. Very many women have no moustache at all. Many have only a very slight growth. But some have as much as men. So regrowth rates vary, whatever method of hair removal you use.

Threading to remove facial hair?

This is true , you need to do threading every once in 3 weeks.

Threading to remove facial hair?

yes it is true, personal experience ,but dear friend never ever go for full face threading as it spoiled my face so badly that i am really worried now,i have so many pimples all over my cheeks and forehead.so donot.

Threading to remove facial hair?

Many people prefer to make their body and facial hair less noticeable by bleaching.

Detailed information about the effectiveness of bleaching is available at http://www.hairremoval.in/hairbleach.htm...

Threading to remove facial hair?

I highly recommend threading, but I wouldn't say that the hair growth is necessarily less coarse. It's probably the same as if you were to wax. In addition, hair regrowth really depends on the individual. After I thread, some hair starts growing back as soon as a few days later. It just really depends. With all of that said, I like threading rather than waxing because you don't put any chemicals on your face and if done well, it looks very good and clean.

Threading to remove facial hair?

Threading is great! I wish I could do it myself!!!

I find I get less pimples than with waxing....hurts the same though.

FACIAL HAIR (((((((((NOOSEEEEEEE HAIIR)!!!!!!!hELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

this is something serious............ theres so much facial hair on my nose i cant tweeze it cause its too small and im not sure wat to do... its very very very awkward, its outside on the nose not the inside and i think onl a few people ever have em so i just want to know wat im supposed to do.. and yes its noticeable and no its not nostril hair.... its actully growing ontop of the nose.... any advice is appreciated

FACIAL HAIR (((((((((NOOSEEEEEEE HAIIR)!!!!!!!hELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Just go to a hair salon and have them wax it off. It would be quick. Or you could just buy a hair removal product at a local pharmacy and remove it yourself. Good Luck

FACIAL HAIR (((((((((NOOSEEEEEEE HAIIR)!!!!!!!hELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Electrolysis? That might hurt, though.

Did you ever put scotch tape on your nose as a child? Any hair that is pulled once has a tendency to grow stronger and longer after... For that reason, I wouldn't use wax unless a professional recommended it as the best solution.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

I am currently 17 and i have little facial hair. I have researched a lot and found that there is nothing i can really do, i was going to try minoxidil but after a day i figured i didnt want to bc i got bad reviews on it. My father can grow full facial hair, he is of middle eastern decent. The thing is that i know hair growth comes from your mothers genetics, but my moms side of the family was all girls. The facial hair that i can grow is on my upper lip which is light and some on my chin, no neck, cheek or side burn hair. Is there anything i can do or is my puberty cycle moving slower then others? answers would be appreciated.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

relax

not everyone thinks facial hair is all that

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

The thing to do is shave what u got now and it will grow thicker.

Shave for a week and then let it grow naturally, u will have a thick mustache and beard soon.

Olive oil makes hair grow.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

imagine youre a greek woman and count yourself lucky.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

I have noticed that anything you shave grows in thicker. I would suggest you shave for a couple of weeks in a row so the hair that grows in will be thicker and more noticable.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

Are you a female? if your a male you need not to fret

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

what color is your hair? lighter hair grows lighter facial hair, however all I can tell you is to eat a healthy diet and hope your puberty cycle isn't up yet.

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

They have electric hair trimmers. You would have to look around. My mom has one and my older brother used to use it when he got peach fuzz so to call it. Good luck... You might want to search around on Google.com or something. Its just a little slim trimmer that is electric and you might have seen one on TV. They are the things that are in commericials and trim extra hair on the back of your neck and stuff, not sure if you have seen them. I'm sorry I don't remember the name.

Hope this was helpful... good luck =]

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

don't worry about it

Im 17 and I have little facial hair, help?

what about your grandpap(your moms dad?did he have whiskers?you might take it after him.the only thing i can tell you,is keep shaving and see if it comes in thicker.good luck.

Facial hair removers such as nair?

Just wondering if anyone has used any of the facial hair removers by Nair or Sally or any other brand? Did it work? How long did the hair stay gone? Which product did you use and how much did it cost? Im looking for something at walmart lol, so nothing too expensive

Facial hair removers such as nair?

I like Sally Hansen products.

Stayed gone for about week and a half or so...my hair grows fast :(

It's not too expensive, don't remember how much, under $10 I'm sure.

Just a tip: Do Not Rub it Off when done!!! OMG will it burn if you leave it too long or rub off the cream. Be very careful. It will work great, but I cannot stress enough: do not rub off or leave it over the recommended time!

Oh, yes.. answerer above me reminded me. You might also break out. Do not use any makeup for at least 24hrs or so. I usually rinse with cool water and just dab dry. Use oil-free moisturizer to prevent drying. You'll get the hang of it after a while :)

Facial hair removers such as nair?

I use Nair, it's good but can make my skin tingle a little if I leave it on too long.

Dont know how much it is as Ive had it for ages, but it must be cheap for me to buy it!! LOL

Facial hair removers such as nair?

I have used different products... Nads and Sally Hansen are the one's i've used the most. If you talking about hair on my upper lip....GOOD LUCK. not to scare u but it hurts like a mother... and unfortunatly with the initial irritation and what not most people tend to break out and get lots of little white heads on the area. not fun.... sorry.

Facial hair removers such as nair?

Most of the time I use this product called

" Finishing Touch Lumina Lighted Hair Remover" $9.00

I got it from Walgreens..it can be purchased at Walmart too..

It works quite well but i use it daily..

I also use this one "

Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit for Face, Eyebrows %26amp; Bikini " $ 5.49

The Sally Hansen hair remover wax kit i use on my upper lip..hair stayed gone for about a good 3 weeks for me..

Facial hair removers such as nair?

Sally Hansen is very good- both the wax and the lotion, and it's cheap.

Make sure you test it on your forearm for allergies, or it can get really ugly.

ETA: Don't leave it on longer than the recommended time. If you do, it'll burn like hell

How do I grow my facial hair faster in other parts?

Ok, so im a 17 yr old male. For some reason my neck and sideburns grow fast but no where else. I wanna beable to grow it on my chin, and jaw line.. so I could maybe go with a nice facial style such has chin strap, or a thin beard even. Why is it just growing on my neck and sides? My dad has alot of facial hair if he don't shave, but now that I think about it on my mom's side.. no one has facial hair. What could be the problem? Is it normal for facial hair to just grow in certain spots?

How do I grow my facial hair faster in other parts?

Everyone has a patchy growing pattern. I am 21 and have had a beard since the 8th grade, but it still grows faster underneath my chin and sideburns. My stache takes a couple of weeks to grow in. Jut keep it trimmed until it is long enough everywhere to style. No tricks to make it grow faster. You just have to deal with it.

How do I grow my facial hair faster in other parts?

maybe if you concentrate really hard it will obey you and grow.

How do I grow my facial hair faster in other parts?

I wouldn't wish for it so quickly at 17 unless you want to start shaving daily or twice a day... Believe me it will come...

You are still in the growing periods of your life and all your hormones haven't kicked in yet.

If you start shaving the fuzz off daily in these areas it will produce thicker growth and soon you will start to see more.

Give it time....you have the rest of your life.....

Facial hair in school?

I go to a public high school and our gay *** dress code says that we are not to have facial hair.

I was wondering if this is violating any of my own rights and what I should do about it instead of give in. Shouldn't teachers and staff be more concerned about what is in our heads than what is on our faces? My stupid teacher told me to go to the office today and shave because I had a little hair on my chin..and in doing this I lost valuable time in completing my assignment. I lost learning time because of dealing with personal matters...is this right?

Facial hair in school?

U dont want a beard do ya? naaaaaa

Low progesterone, acne and facial hair?

I've had adult acne for over 5 years and came off the the pill around 2.5 years ago. My acne has never improved and have noticed a considerable amount of facial hair in the last 8 months. I saw a hormone specialist who told me I have low preogesterone and gave me a course of hormone cream which I absorbed thru the skin which I did for 5 weeks. I started to get my periods every 2 weeks. My doctor then advised that I should insert the cream thru the vagina as its more effective this way. After another 6 weeks of this I was still having periods every 2 weeks so she then prescribed me progesterone lozeneges. After 1 month of this still having periods for 2 weeks, acne getting worse and facial hair not disappearing I have given up and gone back on the pill to stop my period for a while and have break from acne. I still have breakouts but not as severe but facial hair has become worse. I would like to start a family next year and wondering If anyone can help me further. I don't have PCOS.

Low progesterone, acne and facial hair?

You might try using a solution of 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 cup water and wash your face in it. It should help get rid of the acne. I have a friend who tried the solution and she said it worked great. As for the facial hair I would suggest using some of those hair removal creams for the face. Or you could get a second opinion.
